Opening Night

it's the Grand Gala Evening opening of The Phoenix Club, following the blaze

that destroyed the Neptune Club. TV's Roy Walker and Chorley FM DJ Paul

Le Roy are there. In a bid to get the club ready in time, the wiring has been

bodged and there's a power cut, but the top-of-the-bill act racist folk band

Half a Shilling play on.

 

 

 

Wild West Night 

Brian Potter stages Wild West Night with a bucking bronco, line dancing,

snake-eyed pies (Chicken and mushroom really)  and a fight.

 

 



 

Disco Inferno

Keith Lard, the "dog-loving" and pedantic fire safety officer, visits the club. Meanwhile, gloomy psychic
Clinton Baptiste is the latest star turn.

 



 

Singles Night 
All the staff are hoping to strike lucky on Singles Night. Resident DJ Ray Von doesn't help.
